Why are we collecting and using your personal information?
We may collect your personal information (e.g. your name, email, organisation where you work, city in which you live) when you provide it to us via the online form on this website, when you reach out and contact us, or if you give it to us at a Centre for Sex and Gender Equity in Health and Medicine (Centre) event or conference.
Your personal information will be collected, used and stored so that we can:
- Send you newsletters with general updates on the Centre and its activities
- Inform you of Centre events and conferences
- Invite you to collaborate on Centre projects
- Inform you of research project opportunities
- Inform you of seed funding opportunities
- Send you important information about any changes to the Centre, our website terms and conditions, privacy policy or other administrative or technical information.
What will happen if you do not wish to provide your personal information?
You do not have to provide us personal information, but it will limit how we can interact with you. We will not be able to include you as a network member of the Centre for Sex and Gender Equity in Health and Medicine or send you communications about the Centre.
If you do provide us your personal information but later decide you no longer wish to receive communications from us, you can unsubscribe by following the opt-out instructions provided in the communication.
Who might we disclose your personal information to?
Your personal information may be accessed by our staff and external service providers, such as those who provide IT services, cloud storage or technical support.

Will your personal information be disclosed to overseas recipients?
Your personal information may be transferred outside of Australia to external service providers for the purposes of storage in their servers located in the United States of America and Europe.
